So many people from problems related to not feeling like they can relax. “Why Can’t I Relax?” is a question many people face. There are several things to consider when someone asks this question. What is their normal day like? How do they handle the things they have to do? Are they behind in tasks? Are there problems financially or within the household? All of these things can be related to not being able to relax.
Someone’s daily activities can have a great impact on their inability to relax. If they feel like their day is constantly in control of them instead of them being in control of it. Time is always an issue as much as we may think it isn’t. If someone feels like they don’t have enough time in one day to do the things they feel they need to then they’re going to feel that extra stress. This stress is only going to lead to worse problems down the road and an inability to feel relaxed.
If this is something that you feel you may be experiencing that you can do one of several things. Start with trying to set a schedule for yourself that has to include some time to relax. It doesn’t matter what the activity is as long as it actually feels like a break for you. If this doesn’t work or you continue to feel anxious and stressed than perhaps it is wise to consider counseling. Counseling can help with a wide variety of issues and overall help make you feel better.
